Sustainability Consultant
Remote
Key Responsibilities
-
Develop entity-wide sustainability data inventories and/or life cycle assessments for energy, GHG, water, waste, and other resources
-
Conduct verifications of entity-wide inventories for energy, GHG, water, waste, and other resources
-
Develop and maintain data management systems and business intelligence tools
-
Design sustainability or climate risk management performance targets with accompanying strategies and achievement plans
-
Research sustainability programs and initiatives

Produce sustainability reports, disclosures, and other communications
-
Support business development activities with existing and prospective clients
-
Stakeholder Engagement: Collaborate with clients, cross-functional teams, and external partners to develop and deliver sustainability solutions.

Policy & Compliance: Stay informed about global sustainability regulations, frameworks, and emerging trends to ensure client compliance and innovation.

Reporting & Communication: Deliver detailed reports and impactful presentations to communicate findings, solutions, and value propositions to clients.
Qualifications
-
Master’s degree in Environmental Science, Sustainability, Engineering, or a related field.

Demonstrated familiarity with sustainability issues and frameworks such as supply chain management, circularity, LCA, CDP, GRI, TCFD, and/or the GHG Protocol
-
Strong knowledge of international sustainability standards (e.g., ISO 14040/44, ISO 14025, EN 15804).

Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and project management skills.

Exceptional communication skills to translate complex technical concepts into actionable insights.

Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
